Activity Helps Hot Flashes & Night Sweats

According to a study published online on March 27, 2013, in Menopause, women who are more active during the day experience less hot flashes or night sweats and also report better sleep. Women 54 to 63 years old wore sleep monitors, kept sleep diaries, and completed questionnaires about daily physical activity. Women with high levels of activity had fewer awakenings and reported better sleep.
