A small study involving patients undergoing treatment for lymphoma found that Tibetan yogaimproved sleep. Tibetan yoga relies on gentle movements and meditation. For the study, half of the39 patients participated in 7 weekly yoga sessions. After 3 months, the rest of the patients wereinvited to join the classes. The study results showed that the patients in the 7-weekly-session groupreported getting to sleep sooner, sleeping longer, and needing fewer drugs to fall asleep.
