Test Yourself on 5 Leadership Traits

Sometimes, I like to compare myself to others to see how I am doing. Now that I am semi-retired, I don’t do that as often as I used to, but it is still helpful.

When I read a brief article about the 5 traits that make Google CEO Larry Page different from other leaders, I decided to test myself. Although I fell short, I was challenged by his approach, which includes:

1. Sky-high expectations that are almost cartoon-like.

2. Aggressive dreamer, but also an assertive executive.

3. Committment to consistently reinventing the company.

4. Being the No. 1 Google user.

5. Still researching things like no other.

How do you stack up as a leader on those 5 traits?
