The screenings and cost associated with each include:
Publix Pharmacy will be unable to bill insurance providers directly. It is recommended that the customer contact their insurance provider directly for plan policies and reimbursement practices if applicable.
Appointments for the biometric screenings are not necessary; however, in order to receive the most accurate results, it is recommended that patients fast for 8-12 hours prior to their screening. The results are provided within minutes of taking the test(s) and a pharmacist consultation is provided. Results from the biometric screenings will be kept on file so that the Publix pharmacist may refer back to previous screenings to identify changes and trends in the patient’s overall health. Biometric screenings do not replace annual wellness visits with health care providers. To learn more about the screenings and/or additional Publix Pharmacy programs, please visit
