NCODA has a lot of potential possibilities and also developments and one of those are actually chemotherapy education. Working with NCODA, focusing on the oral oncolytics—an area which is growing so steadfast—either in single agents or in combination has really been a very important discussion for our patients, or our healthcare providers and healthcare systems. NCODA has been a focus in terms of addressing this piece, and one of the key pieces that really have been brought up is the discussion of education. We have seen the OC sheets, which is a collaborative between 4 different teams, really come in and also help address education portions, which have really not been developed in the past. So the standardization process is not only helping patients, it’s helping nurses, pharmacists do the education. It’s helping with monitoring for patient populations, and also addressing overall patient care education for those caregivers and also the patients themselves. And that’s just the first step of why I joined the NCODA.
