Girish Dighe, PharmD, MS: As we all know, revenue integrity takes many right people in the right place working together, so when you think of the key stakeholders it first starts with finance. It also includes your IS or your IT department, managed care, revenue cycle, coding, and billing. You think about your clinical departments, and also your operational stakeholders. And then you also want to make sure you have your executive leadership in place as well, too, to make sure that they’re sponsoring the initiatives that are occurring, and there’s a nice escalation pathway to some of the things that the revenue integrity program is working on. But one of the key champions that we need to make sure of is the physicians. I think the physicians are a key component and a key stakeholder in ensuring that we have connecting the clinical, the financial, and the operational pieces together to ensure a positive and favorable revenue integrity program.
