CVS Health's Advanced Care Scripts Earns URAC Accreditation for Specialty Pharmacy

CVS Health has announced that Advanced Care Scripts has earned accreditation in Specialty Pharmacy from URAC, the independent leader in promoting healthcare quality through accreditation, certification and measurement.

WOONSOCKET, R.I., April 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) announced today that Advanced Care Scripts (ACS) has earned accreditation in Specialty Pharmacy from URAC, the independent leader in promoting healthcare quality through accreditation, certification and measurement. By achieving this status, ACS has demonstrated a comprehensive commitment to quality care, improved processes and better patient outcomes.

ACS manages and dispenses specialty medications to patients with complex chronic conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, hemophilia and cancer. The comprehensive patient care model of ACS provides compliance and adherence support and cost-effective solutions for all classes of specialty medications.
