Pharmacy Times® interviewed Charles Nakar, MD and Amy Shapiro, MD, both pediatric hematologist-oncologists at the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center, on their presentation at the 62nd ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition. The presentation discusses research into acute airway obstruction in 4 pediatric patients with congenital plasminogen deficiency treated with intravenous plasminogen replacement therapy under an expanded access protocol.
