NOVANT HEALTH: INTEGRATING TECHNICIANS INTO THE HEALTH CARE TEAM

Novant reimburses technicians once they pass the PTCE, incentivizing them to move up the career ladder and earn additional credentials with subsequent salary increases. Technicians are staying longer and have greater job satisfaction, as seen in a 73% decrease in turnover from May 2020 to June 2022, according to Michael Paquette, PharmD, senior director of pharmacy at Novant.
