2014 Next-Generation Pharmacist Awards: Nominations Now Open

The 5th annual Next-Generation Pharmacist^TM awards program, presented by Pharmacy Times in partnership with Parata Systems, is open for nominations. Pharmacists in all practice environments are eligible, and technicians and student pharmacists may be entered in 2 categories. The 2014 awards will be presented in August in Boston concurrent with the National Association of Chain Drug Stores’ Total Store Expo. Nominations are open for these categories:

• Rising Star of the Year
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• Civic Leader of the Year
• Technology Innovator of the Year
• Patient Care Provider of the Year
• Technician of the Year
• Specialty Pharmacist of the Year
• Military Pharmacist of the Year
• Future Pharmacist of the Year
• Lifetime Achievement Award

A winner in 1 of the pharmacist categories will be selected to receive the program’s highest honor—the 2014 Next-Generation Pharmacist award—which recognizes a pharmacist with an exceptional vision for pharmacy and the pharmacy industry. Nominations will be evaluated by an independent panel of esteemed judges, chaired by Pharmacy Times Editor-in-Chief Fred M. Eckel, RPh, MS.
