The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) andthe National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) are nowspeaking with one voice. The associations recently formed theCoalition for Community Pharmacy Action (CCPA) to representthem on legislative and regulatory issues of common interest.
"CCPA's success is critical to the continued economic viabilityof not only community pharmacists, but also the healthand safety of millions of patients who rely on their communitypharmacists for medications and professional services," said Bruce Roberts, RPh, NCPA executive vice president andchief executive officer.
Robert Hannan, NACDS interim president and chief executiveofficer, said,"Working together,we can be more effective in influencingthe formation of legislation and regulations affecting communitypharmacy." Hannan is serving as Executive Committeecochairman for CCPA.
