Rx 1: Registered Pharmacist Marisela Cossette, of Supermarket Pharmacy in Hawthorne, Calif, was at lunch when the patient brought this prescription into the pharmacy. She was able to read the directions but had to call the physician's office for clarification of the correct medication. Can you figure out this prescription?
Rx 2: Pharmacist Asma Ali and Pharmacy Technician Gina Cannizzaro, of Goldin Pharmacy in Haledon, NJ, did not know how to approach filling this prescription. The poor handwriting made it more challenging to determine how many scripts were ordered. After several attempts and a lot of time, Ali called the prescribing physician for assistance. Do you know how many scripts are written and what medications are being prescribed?
