Wal-Mart Extends Pharmacy Hours
Wal-Mart is making it easier for customersto fill prescriptions by expandingits pharmacy services to include24-hour pharmacies. Wal-Mart isbeginning its expansion in NeighborhoodMarkets and a supercenter pharmacyin Arkansas and Texas. TheNeighborhood Markets are located inBentonville, Ark, and Arlington, FortWorth, and Mesquite, Tex, and thesupercenter is in Plano, Tex.
"We're going to concentrate onthese 5 pharmacies and work to perfectour model," said Ron Chomiuk, Wal-Mart's vice president of pharmacyoperations. "These facilities will allowus to gather feedback from our customersand our associates on whatwe're doing right and how we can furtherenhance this concept."
