Pharmacy Times spoke with Richard Schmitz, PQA Chief Engagement Officer, about how social determinants of health (SDOH) fits with PQA’s work to improve medication safety and appropriate use.

Schmitz: Well SDOH is a priority for PQA because issues like medication access, transportation cost, all impact a patient's ability to have access to medications and use them safely and effectively.
