The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming items for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:
- Aug. 24 – Foundational Nutrient Recommendations for Pharmacists, CE webinar. By 2024 the value of the supplement market is expected to reach $56.7 billion. Community pharmacy owner and functional medicine specialist Dr. Kathy Campbell (of the Creating Health: Pharmacist-Led Lifestyle and Weight Management program) has a thriving front end focused on keeping patients well, and she is sharing a few tricks of the trade. This webinar will cover clinical areas of need, considerations, and workflow best practices to make supplement sales a reality in pharmacy businesses. Learn more and register.
- Ongoing –
- Our August Month of Action initiative, which is in lieu of NCPA’s typical fly-in to Washington, D.C. We are encouraging community pharmacy teams to invite their federal representatives for a pharmacy visit during the August in-district work period. This important month of action will turn up the heat on pharmacy benefit manager-insurers and keep community pharmacy on the minds of members of Congress. Learn more and sign up to participate.
- Registration for the NCPA 2022 Annual Convention and Expo. The convention will be held Oct. 1-4 in Kansas City, Mo. Learn more and register.
- Registration for our Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs. Taking place Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in Kansas City, this programming includes hot topics such as point-of-care testing, long-term care, weight management, specialty pharmacy, and more. Learn more and register.
Additionally, NCPA offers a variety of on-demand programs available to pharmacy teams to take on their own schedule.
