Sireesha Datla, MD Joins Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is pleased to welcome hematologist and medical oncologist Sireesha Datla, MD to the statewide practice. She is providing care to patients at the FCS St. Anthony’s clinic, 1201 5th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, Florida 33705 and FCS Pasadena clinic, 1615 Pasadena Avenue S., Suite 400, St. Petersburg, FL 33707.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Datla and to enhance the range of services now available to our patients in Pinellas County,” FCS Chief Executive Officer Nathan H. Walcker.

Dr. Datla has been done extensive research and has a special interest in hematological conditions. She has been published in numerous medical journals.

FCS President & Managing Physician Lucio Gordan, MD said, “Dr. Datla is an experienced hematologist who is dedicated to delivering personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. She has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders that will be of great benefit to our patients.”

After receiving her medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College at NTR University of Medical Sciences, India, Dr. Datla completed Internal Medicine residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. She was awarded fellowships in Sickle Cell Disease at State University of New York Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, in Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking at Case Western University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and in Hematology and Oncology at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
