PRESS RELEASE
Flemington, NJ (March , 2015) —
Earlier this month, ShopRite of Flemington held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its brand new, in-store Diabetes Center. Led by ShopRite’s Wellness team, which includes retail dietitian Susan Lang-Saponara, RD and store pharmacists, the Diabetes Center is a one stop shop for customers looking to manage and monitor their diabetes diagnosis.
The Diabetes Center, which includes more than 100 items geared toward disease prevention and management, is strategically situated next to the Pharmacy, allowing for easy access to pharmacy professionals who are always available to answer customers’ questions about medication, meters, testing devices and other diabetes-related care products. Customers can also benefit from the in-store dietitian’s free services to help manage their dietary restrictions. ShopRite dietitians offer one-on-one consultation, as well as group workshops and seminars on many health-related topics and are available to all ShopRite customers.
As part of ShopRite’s Live Right initiative, the Diabetes Center is all about personalizing the health and wellness experience for customers. ShopRite’s Wellness Team provides individualized counseling for all customers, helping them to find the right items or care to meet their specific needs.
