Rochester, NY (May 01, 2013) -- PharmaSmart International Inc., a member of the exclusive Inc. 5000 list and Rochester, NY Top 100 announced today that it has deployed it’s clinically validated & peer reviewed blood pressure screening program inside all Kinney Drugs stores. This new weapon in the fight against hypertension has now arrived throughout Upstate New York and Vermont.
The new kiosks and interoperable Health IT solutions are manufactured and distributed by PharmaSmart International. This rollout marks a major milestone for PharmaSmart as they recently relocated into a brand new state of the art 53,000 sq. ft. facility in Rochester, NY. Kinney Drugs represents the first major launch from the new global headquarters.

PharmaSmart reports that its kiosk network has collected and stored over 16 million patient readings on its proprietary PS DataSmart Health IT Server. This integrated solution enables Kinney Drugs’ pharmacists to conduct timely reviews with patients who do not have their blood pressure controlled, helping them achieve better treatment outcomes. The PharmaSmart Smart Card is now listed on multiple national compendia and is becoming is a key element of disease prevention programs and pharmacy services remuneration.
