The #ThankAPharmacist campaign has celebrated and honored pharmacists for the last 5 years.
Pharmacy Times will launch its fifth annual #ThankAPharmacist campaign this October. The campaign recognizes pharmacy professionals as valuable members of the health care team and generates appreciation for pharmacists among their peers, patients and communities through social media posts.
Pharmacy Times will take to social media during American Pharmacists Month to acknowledge pharmacists for their valuable contributions to health care delivery and their commitment to improving patients’ lives. The annual #ThankAPharmacist campaign recognizes thousands of pharmacists throughout the country through Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, bringing awareness and appreciation of the profession and celebrating the value of the pharmacist.
People are encouraged to post their messages to pharmacy professionals using #ThankAPharmacist or #APharmacistIs.

In the November issue, Pharmacy Times will feature the top 10 posts showcasing the true value of pharmacists. Additionally, video submissions will be highlighted in November on the Pharmacy Times website, and Pharmacy Times will feature the 3 most-liked videos submitted to #APharmacistIs during American Pharmacists Month.
