PRESS RELEASE
BOULDER, Colo. (Nov. 17, 2014) — Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, the nation’s first and largest chain of integrative pharmacies, is proudly entering the eighth year of its Holiday Gift Bag Donation Program. The program offers customers the opportunity to purchase much-needed wellness and personal care products for a chosen local charity during November and December. In 2013, Pharmaca facilitated a donation of more than $90,000 worth of wellness goods to these charities across its stores.
“The Holiday Gift Bag Donation Program offers a way for us to provide some of Pharmaca’s favorite products and gifts to local organizations that are supporting our communities,” says Laura Coblentz, Pharmaca’s vice president of marketing. “It’s also a great way to make customers aware of the important work these organizations are doing. We look forward to continuing to grow our donations each year.”
The Holiday Gift Bag Donation Program is part of Pharmaca’s larger mission to serve the unique needs of the communities surrounding the stores. Staff at each of Pharmaca’s 26 stores identify a local charity that can benefit from the gift bags, which are filled with natural personal care items, necessities like diapers and body wash, and fun Christmas gifts—all of which are handpicked for the charity. Beneficiaries range from women’s shelters to family services organizations and more.
Pharmaca Team Members assemble the bags and make them available for customers to purchase for donation in denominations of $10, $15 or $25 throughout November and December. Pharmaca then delivers the gift bags to the designated charity around December 25. For more information on the program, visit your local Pharmaca store.
