Pet Peeves (October 2016)
Read about brazen bicyclists, impatient patients, and other pet peeves.
BRAZEN BICYCLISTS. When customers ask, “Why can’t I use the drive-up window? I’m on a bike.” (Answer: patient safety. Patients get upset even though we have a sign saying, “No bicycles, please.”)
BANKING ON CONSISTENCY. When patients looking for a price break say, “You can’t help me out? I’ve been coming here for years!”
FREELOADERS. Some people think everything should be free … for them!
QUICK TO ANGER. When customers get upset because we can’t rush refills or prior authorizations!
What’s bothering you? Bossy patients, abandoned prescriptions, drive-thrus? Pharmacy Times wants to know. Send your pet peeves to PetPeeves@pharmacytimes.com. We’ll add them to our ongoing published list. Share your Pet Peeves with Pharmacy Times today!
