MAKING CENTS OF IT

When patients pay for an inexpensive prescription with spare change and take several minutes to gather the coins they need.

PREMATURE PROMISES

Doctors call in a prescription and tell their patients that “it will be ready when you get there.” Sure enough, these patients then come in to the pharmacy expecting a prescription that we haven’t had a chance to fill yet!

ALL GROWN UP

When parents get angry at us for refusing to disclose protected health information about their adult children.

HEY FEVER

Patients who try to get my attention by addressing me as, “Hey you!”
