Opportunities for Pharmacists in Hemp-Derived CBD

Jesica Mills, PharmD, MBA: So, pharmacists have a great opportunity to start using hemp for their patients in multiple different ways. A lot of the patients that we’ve seen have really benefitted from pain, from inflammation, as well as a good boost for their immune system. So if they’ve got some different autoimmune conditions and haven’t really found anything else to really be able to help with those symptoms, CBD that’s derived from hemp has really been shown to be effective for those patients to help to relieve some of those symptoms.
