PRESS RELEASE
DUBLIN, Ohio, March 9, 2016 — The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) recently recognized naviHealth Inc., for its commitment to quality care and patient services with its Certification in Utilization Management.
The NCQA Certification in Utilization Management is a quality assessment program that requires organizations to undergo a rigorous audit comparing performance of their utilization management programs against the standards established by a consortium of physicians and managed care experts.
NCQA audit review standards raise the bar for quality care on a yearly basis by providing transparency for consumers, health plans and many other audiences.
“Becoming accredited by the NCQA is a tremendous testament to the outstanding work of our various teams and our organizational dedication to providing quality care to members,” said Clay Richards, president and Chief Executive Officer of naviHealth. “This was an extensive process over the course of nearly a year and we thank NCQA for the rigor with which they assessed naviHealth. Moving forward, we are committed to continuing to setting and meeting high benchmarks for ourselves when it comes to delivering quality care to patients and helping our partners achieve positive outcomes.”
