NACDS Brings Mobile App to Pharmacy & Technology Conference

The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) will offer a mobile Web-based application to participants of the upcoming 2010 NACDS Pharmacy & Technology Conference, to be held August 28 to 31 in San Diego, California.

Bolstered by the success of mobile apps at previous conferences, NACDS hopes the app will help conference goers efficiently manage a packed schedule of appointments, lunches and receptions, speaking engagements, educational sessions, and other conference programming using their smartphones.

Users who download the app will have instant access to up-to-date conference information—including speaker bios, an interactive map, an exhibitor directory, and a personalized show schedule. The app is compatible with iPhone, Droid, and BlackBerry, as well as other smartphones, and can be downloaded on the conference Web site.

For more information about this year’s conference, follow NACDS on Twitter @NACDSmeetings or visit the NACDS online at www.nacds.org.
