MedPro Rx receives accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc, in the areas of Infusion Pharmacy Services, Infusion Nursing Services, and Specialty Pharmacy Services.
Nancy McFarlane, president of MedPro Rx, Inc. (www.medprorx.com), a leading provider of specialty pharmacy services to clients with chronic illnesses who need clotting factor, IVIg and other medication, has announced that the pharmacy has received accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc., (ACHC) in the areas of Infusion Pharmacy Services, Infusion Nursing Services, and Specialty Pharmacy Services.
MedPro Rx has obtained accreditation from ACHC multiple times previously, and this was the first time it has received accreditation for Specialty Pharmacy Services and Infusion Nursing Services. Accreditation by the ACHC is regarded as one of the key benchmarks for measuring the quality of an organization, along with its products and services. In the United States, standard setting by industry leaders with peer review is widely accepted, resulting in better planning, implementation and further evaluation of all processes. Accreditation standards provide the catalyst for organizational management strategy with the onsite survey to determine if the company is actually performing according to the goals and objectives it has adopted in its system. The ACHC accreditation is awarded for a 3-year period. Maintaining accreditation is contingent upon continued compliance with ACHC’s standards during this period.]
