Interactive Print Brings Pharmacy Times' Pages to Life

The Pharmacy Times Augmented Reality application, PT AR, brings additional practical features to the printed page, including videos, animations, and other content. The free application allows a mobile device’s camera to recognize an icon on certain Pharmacy Times pages to access the expanded content.

The application is available for both Android and Apple devices, including smartphones and tablets. Android users can visit the Android Market for the app, and iPhone and iPad users can find PT AR in the App Store.

To watch the pages of Pharmacy Times come to life, follow these simple instructions:

  • Visit PharmacyTimes.com/AR and download the AR App (available for iPhone, iPad, and Android Devices).
  • Install the AR app onto your device.
  • Now, whenever you see the AR symbol, view the page through the app and watch the content come to life!

Users should note that AR features will not play unless the entire issue page is in view on the device screen.

Content plays automatically once the device has the entire Pharmacy Times page in view—without needing to push buttons, tap, or click.
