Health App Wrap

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Integrative Medicine Service offers a reference app covering herbal and other alternative medicine areas. The app content is supervised by a pharmacist and botanicals expert to provide comprehensive and objective information.

The app contains more than 200 monographs on the structure, purported uses, adverse effects, and drug interactions associated with herbs, botanicals, supplements, and complementary therapies, with scientific references to support the information.

Each monograph has 2 versions to cater to health professionals and consumers, and is updated weekly with new or additional information. Original artwork accompanies each entry as well.

Users can search by product or service name, or find remedies suggested for various medical conditions. In addition, users can save favorites or commonly used items or explore featured products or services.

Users can access the app content offline, so no Internet connection is needed to check information in the application.
