Indication: Par Pharmaceutical released Hydrocodone Polistirex and Chlorpheniramine Polistirex Extended-Release Oral Suspension, which is indicated for the treatment of cough and upper respiratory symptoms from cold or allergies in adults and in children 6 years and older. A dosing cup for 2.5- and 5-mL doses is provided for the 115-mL size; no dosing cup is provided for the 473-mL size. Patients should be advised not to overfill their dosing device, not to use a household teaspoon for dosing, and to shake the medication well before use.

Sildenafil Tablets

Indication: Greenstone LLC, a subsidiary of Pfizer Inc, has released Sildenafil Tablets, an authorized generic version of Revatio. The product is indicated for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension in adults to enhance exercise ability and inhibit worsening of symptoms. The recommended dose is 20 mg 3 times per day, administered 4 to 6 hours apart. Its use is contraindicated in patients taking organic nitrates and not recommended for patients taking ritonavir or other potent cytochrome P450 3A inhibitors or for patients who are taking sildenafil citrate or another phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor for erectile dysfunction.
