Expert: During the Nursing Staffing Crisis, ‘Pharmacists Have Been a Godsend’ for Nurses

Pharmacy Times interviewed Rita Wise, DEd, MSN, RN, the program director of the Masters in Nursing Education and Nursing Administration programs at Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, on the national nurse staffing crisis, which is not only effecting hospitals, but also nursing faculty at academic institutions.

During this discussion, Wise explained her hopes for how the country and US health systems will respond to the national nurse staffing crisis in order to support the ongoing needs of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as future health crises.
