CVS Health Launches In-Store Fundraising Campaign to Support American Lung Association's Lung Force Initiative

CVS Health has launched an in-store fundraising campaign at CVS Pharmacy locations nationwide to benefit the American Lung Association's Lung Force initiative, which aims to make lung cancer a public health priority.

the American Lung Association's LUNG FORCE initiative

which aims to make lung cancer, the leading cancer killer of women in

CVS Health is the national presenting sponsor of LUNG FORCE, which is focused on raising awareness about lung cancer in women, and increasing research funding to save lives.

Funds raised through the in-store campaign will support health education and critical research that will lead to better treatment options and improved methods of early detection. Lung cancer kills almost twice as many women as any other cancer. Yet, according to the American Lung Association's 2nd Annual Women's Lung Health Barometer a survey of over 1,000 American adult women to better understand their awareness, knowledge and perceptions about lung cancer this disease is not even on women's health radar.
