Continuing Education for the Specialty Pharmacist

The Pharmacy Times Office of Continuing Professional Education (PTOCPE) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of free continuing pharmacy education. Through PTOCPE, Pharmacy Times offers pharmacists multiple ways to access authoritative and informative continuing education (CE) programs. By going to www.PharmacyTimes.com, pharmacists can read CE lessons, take tests online, and print their certificates upon completion.

The editors of Specialty Pharmacy Times have hand-picked this sampling of Pharmacy Times’ CE offerings that will be of interest to today’s specialty pharmacist. Pharmacy Times is the only ACPE-accredited provider to offer a free CE mobile app, available in the iTunes store at http:// phrmcyt.ms/bqMER0. This new way to access valuable CE and gain credits is user-friendly. Pharmacists can log in using their CPE account, or register for an account, directly from their iPod Touch, iPhone, or other mobile device. The recently launched Pharmacy Times iPad edition also allows pharmacists to complete CE programs wherever and whenever they want. The iPad app is a free download available at http://phrmcyt.ms/bM5Y3x.
