THE PHARMACY OF YOUR FUTURE is brimming with new technology, new concepts in delivering patient care, and innovative ways to launch your own practice that is both financially and professionally rewarding. Come preview your future at this year?s National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) 109th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition, October 13-17, 2007, in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 />
Anaheim
,
Calif.
Hundreds of your peers will be there to preview their future and experience new ideas.
At the convention, you can attend sessions dedicated to student chapter development, pharmacy ownership, and the relevant political issues that affect your ability to practice pharmacy as a health care professional. As students now, you can learn effective tools for chapter leadership and fundraising; and for after graduation, how to develop a business plan and become an owner via junior partnership, franchise, start-up, or purchase of an existing independent pharmacy. It is important that you remain current on the legislative and regulatory issues that will affect your new career and how you can get involved and make a difference.
Next, you will want to support your classmates, student chapters, and faculty members at the annual Student Awards Ceremony. One of the highlights of the convention is the NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition. The top 3 finalist teams will present their business plans before a panel of experts, and you will see the winner announced live at the convention.
Of course, you will have time for fun. We will roll out the red carpet for you?Academy Awards style, for our ?Hollywood Future Pharmacists Social Event.? Register online at www.ncpanet.org, or by calling 866-575-4134. I hope to see you there.
