January 15, 2013 — Arlington, Va. — As NACDS celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) will hold the first of its 2013 meetings in less than three weeks. The 2013 NACDS Regional Chain Conference will kick off February 3-5 at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Designed for senior retail executives operating up to 250 stores, the NACDS Regional Chain Conference offers unique programming and educational opportunities with fellow peers and trading partners.
“NACDS aims to provide the most compelling and timely programming in all of its meetings, and the Regional Chain Conference offers programming and opportunities like no other industry event for small and medium-sized retailers and suppliers,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson, IOM, CAE. “With insights from top industry leaders, interactive programming on key industry issues and high-caliber programming to assist in day-to-day and long-term business planning, the NACDS Regional Chain Conference is a must-attend event for industry leaders in 2013.”
Attendees will have an opportunity to hear from industry leaders including David Cippel, president of Klingensmith’s Drug Stores, Inc. and chairman of the 2013 NACDS Regional Chain Conference; Greg Wasson, president and chief executive officer of Walgreen Co. and NACDS chairman of the Board; and Steven C. The enhanced structure of the Chain & Associate Member Interactive Idea Exchange sessions is designed to foster in-depth discussion on a variety of industry issues. Pre-determined topics will be outlined for each of these sessions for attendees to fully maximize these interactive and educational sessions.
