AAPT to Celebratbrate National Pharmacy Technician Day With Scavenger Hunt

Recognizing the valuable work of pharmacy technicians is a focus for the American Association of Pharmacy Technicians (AAPT). With National Pharmacy Technician Day 2021 on October 19, AAPT Special Projects Team offers a Scavenger Hunt to celebrate this special day and the pharmacy technicians who work hard to add value to their profession.

Pharmacy technicians from all practice settings are invited to play AAPT’s Scavenger Hunt. Technicians are asked to form a team of at least 3 pharmacy technicians with no cap for maximum number of team members. After naming their team, game participants check AAPT website at pharmacytechnician.com each day for a listing of common and not so common items found in a pharmacy. 

Take a picture of at least one team member with the 'found' Scavenger Hunt item and post the picture to AAPT Facebook page. The first team to find all 10 Scavenger Hunt items with a picture wins. All Scavenger Hunt participants are entered in a $50 Amazon gift card drawing and $100 Amazon gift card awarded to the Scavenger Hunt winning team. Prizes will be awarded on Oct 20.
