The successful company now employs more than 100 individuals.

“Mr. Bryant is a role model to any individual wanting to start or grow a business,” his nomination reads. Bryant credits the success of his pharmacy to the personalized care and the feeling of community it provides.

“Mr. Bryant will constantly give care to patients at no charge, only because he has been blessed and wants to help others. This altruism fosters the rapport that Mr. Bryant has with his patients, developing lifelong relations, but also partnerships in the community with other health care providers,” said his nominator.

In addition to Barney’s Pharmacy, Bryant co-owns the Creative Pharmacist. Along with his partner, he developed the company to provide any pharmacist with the ability to offer diabetes education to patients.
