Originally they thought it might be a prescription for Lamictal, but no strength was given and the directions did not make sense. The man who dropped off this prescription had his arm bandaged, leading the staff to believe the script might be for pain. Weitzel called the prescribing physician's office and left a message for the nurse. The call was never returned, prompting Weitzel to page the physician after hours. She was told the physician does not accept any pharmacy calls after hours. The patient had the physician paged so that Weitzel and her staff could figure out this prescription.
