Mallinckrodt Teams with Zydus

Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals Genericshas entered into a strategicalliance with Zydus Cadila's US subsidiary,Zydus Pharmaceuticals Inc.The agreement calls for MallinckrodtPharmaceuticals Generics to marketand sell products under a sharedMallinckrodt-Zypharma label. Theproducts will be developed and registeredby Zydus Pharmaceuticals andwill be manufactured by Zydus Cadilaat its US FDA-approved manufacturingplant in Ahmedabad, India.

By melding Mallinckrodt's marketingand distribution networks withZydus Cadila's product developmentand manufacturing success, Mallinckrodtexpands its product portfolio andpipeline.
