USP introduces dietary education program
The United States Pharmacopeia (USP) will offer a national education program to health professionals, trade organizations, colleges, and universities designed to disseminate proper information regarding the quality, safety, and efficacy of dietary supplements. The goal is to assist pharmacists in helping their patients to make informed decisions regarding dietary supplements. The program is offered to any health group with 100 participants or more at the following locations: Portland, Ore; Louisville, Ky; Denver, Colo; Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Harrisburg, Pa; and Austin, Tex.
