Avery Spunt, PharmD, MEd

Avery Spunt, PharmD, graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Pharmacy in 1970 and a MEd in Instructional Leadership in 1984. He served 9 years as associate dean and adjunct professor of pharmacy practice at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy (CCP). Before joining CCP, he served 3 years as competency assessment director for the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), where he oversaw 4 major testing areas. Prior to his work at NABP, Dr. Spunt worked 31 years at the University Of Illinois Hospital and the College of Pharmacy, where he held various academic and administrative positions. Before his employment at the university, he served in the US Marine Corp.
