Bayer’s Children’s Afrin Extra Moisturizing Stuffy Nose Pump Mist is for patients aged between 2 and 6 years. Containing active ingredient oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.025%, the product provides nasal congestion relief with a fast response that lasts up to 12 hours. The mist provides temporary relief of nasal congestion related to the common cold, hay fever, and upper respiratory allergies. Under adult supervision, 2 to 3 pumps should be administered in each nostril no more than every 10 to 12 hours and no more than 2 doses within a 24-hour period. The product should not be used for more than 3 days, as frequent and prolonged use could cause the nasal congestion to recur or worsen.
