Can You Read These Rxs?
Rx 1:This prescription looks like a hidden message that only the prescribing physician could reveal. Registered Pharmacist David Rooker of Woodstock Drug in Woodstock, Ala, did not spend a lot of time trying to determine what medication was ordered. Instead, he called the physician for verification. Can you decipher this prescription's message?
Rx 2:Registered Pharmacist Vincent Canzanese of CVS Pharmacy #0722 in Springfield, Pa, knew that he was going to have a hard time trying to fill this prescription because of the poor handwriting. He asked the patient, "What are you using this drug for?" When the patient gave him the information, he double-checked with the physician's office and clarified the script. Do you know what the doctor ordered?
