Daily OTC Pearl: Dimetapp

Dimetapp is for cold and cough.

OTC/Lifestyle Pearl of the Day: Dimetapp

Indication: Treats cold and cough.

Insights:

  • Comes in day and night formulations.
  • Used for itchy and watery eyes, runny or stuffy nose, and sneezing.
  • Comes in various flavors
  • Main ingredients are diphenhydramine and phenylephrine.
  • Do not take more than 6 doses per day.
  • For individuals aged 12 years and older: 20 ml every 4 hours
