Star Wars Mask Spurs Pharmacy Robber Arrests

Just in time for Star Wars Day comes the news of a Kylo Ren charlatan and his partner-in-crime getting arrested for robbing a pharmacy.

Stephan Corrick, 65, and Dana Shipley, 51, were arrested last week in connection with 2 pharmacy robberies, WPXI reported. While wearing rubber masks, the 2 men handcuffed the staff at Keystone Pharmacy in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania, and then held them up at gunpoint.

The robbers took more than $2000, plus prescription painkillers, according to WPXI’s report.

A similar robbery occurred at Palmer’s Pharmacy in West Deer Township, Pennsylvania, during which one of the suspects wore a Kylo Ren Star Wars character mask. (It’s unclear from the report whether anyone in the pharmacy uttered the phase, “I’ve got a really bad feeling about this.”)

Police were able to discern that the mask was sold by Target, and a local store’s surveillance footage helped lead investigators to Corrick. When confronted by police, Corrick admitted that he and Shipley were the men behind the masks, WPXI reported.

If Corrick and Shipley are found guilty of the crimes, they may want to head Yoda’s advice: “Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.”

May the Fourth be with them.
