Police prevented a pharmacy from being burglarized on New Year’s Eve by catching a man on the roof of a Medicine Chest in Bryan, Texas, according to The Eagle.

Witnesses spotted Ronnie Deron Bullock perched on the roof of the pharmacy in dark clothing around 3:30 a.m. on December 31, 2014. The 23-year-old man was found to be in possession of a grinder, safety googles, power cords, gloves, and grinder blades, according to The Eagle.

Texas police were able to catch the man before he gained access to the pharmacy, though officers surmised that Bullock was planning to cut through the metal roof with a grinder.

The Houston man was charged with burglary and unlawful use of a criminal instrument. Bullock could face 2 years in confinement for the felony.

Bullock was reported to be in the county jail on New Year’s Day with a bail set at $10,000, according to The Eagle.
